About Himes Equipment

Do you own the equipment listed on your site?

Yes. All machines are 100% owned by Himes Equipment. We don’t use brokers or consignments, which means better prices, faster service, and accurate listings.

Where are you located and do you serve buyers outside of Texas?

We’re based in Van Alstyne, Texas, and we ship nationwide and internationally. We’ve sold equipment to 41 states and several countries including Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Japan.

What types of equipment do you carry?

We carry skid steers, backhoes, dozers, farm tractors, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, forklifts, and more. You can browse our full inventory on the Equipment for Sale page.

Do you speak Spanish?

Yes. Our sales and support team can assist you in both English and Spanish.

Buying & Selling Equipment

How do I buy a machine from Himes Equipment?

Simply call us or send a message through our Contact Page. We’ll confirm availability, provide video walkarounds, and help you coordinate payment and delivery.

Do you offer walkaround videos or inspections?

Yes. Every machine comes with a detailed walkaround video showing cosmetic condition, wear, and functionality. You can also schedule an in-person visit by appointment.

Can I trade in my old equipment?

Yes. We accept trade-ins on select machines. Contact us with details about your equipment and we’ll review your options.

Do you guarantee the machines are lien-free?

Yes. Every machine we sell is backed by a lien-free guarantee. We only buy from trusted, verified sources.

Financing & Payment

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We work with Mazo Capital to provide flexible financing. Most customers are approved in 1–2 business days.

How do I apply for financing?

Contact our team or call Victoria at (949) 431-2066. She’ll walk you through the process and required documents.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept wire transfers and cashier’s checks. We do not accept personal or business checks.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship equipment outside of Texas?

Absolutely. We ship to all 50 states and internationally. We can coordinate freight with insured carriers offering $100K–$250K in coverage.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping timelines vary by location. Most domestic deliveries are completed within 5–10 business days after payment clears.

Can I arrange my own shipping?

Yes. If you prefer to use your own carrier, we’re happy to coordinate pickup at our yard.

Online Auctions

How do your timed online auctions work?

Auctions run for a set amount of time, and the highest bid when the clock runs out wins the item. Listings include photos and videos for full transparency.

Do I need an account to bid?

Yes. You’ll need to register and log in before placing a bid.

Will I be notified if someone outbids me?

Yes. Registered users will receive email alerts when they are outbid, so they can place a new bid if desired.

Can I inspect auction items before bidding?

Yes. You can schedule a visit to our yard or request additional videos of the machine.
